Currently, I’m the Associate Teaching Pastor @ Casas Church, in Tucson, AZ.
The aim of this blog is to write about faith, family, life and leadership. These are a pastor’s thoughts on how they all weave together into the everyday. You will find book reviews, thoughts on marriage, family and parenting, preaching, theology, life and leadership lessons, as well as, things related to Casas Church.

At Casas, I have 3 main roles: Preaching and also leading our Communications and Guest Services ministries. I’ve been back on staff since 1997. I’m a blessed husband & father of 3 brilliant gifts and I’ve got some great friends. I’m a leader, learner & lousy craftsman. A self diagnosed fanatic of University of Arizona athletics and life-long part of the NFL Steelers Nation! Currently getting the chance to chase a soccer ball every week in a Tucson soccer league. Also enjoying some golf in one of the greatest golf destinations in the world.
Jack has a Communication degree from the University of Arizona and a Master’s degree in Theological Studies from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary.
The love of my life – is my beautiful wife Amy. I count it a supreme blessing to get to travel this journey of life & ministry alongside such a strong & wise friend. Our family is a true blessing and I want my legacy to flow from my family more than any ministry activity or item that gets accomplished. Tay, Ry & Cali are gifts from God & the title of “Daddy” that I get to wear is my proudest title.
