From time to time – I’ll do a review on some books I’ve read. You can determine if you want to read ‘em. Here ya go…
Free Book (by: Brian Tome)
Most of us crave safe and thus we can become captive to our fears. In, Free Book, Brian Tome issues a non apologetical look into the fears we face and calls people forward into a Divine freedom. He lays out several fears that hold us hostage, all the while freedom calls with its counterintuitive voice – asking us to find it in following grace & truth. Packed with stories, illustrations and observations – the Free Book, is filled with hope. Brian is a hard hitting – straight shooter, that will put you back on your heals, but yet you’ll find yourself leaning forward toward this freedom he paints as available. You’ll notice your fears and want to serve an eviction notice. And anyone that can weave in Scooby Doo and make it work, is worth reading in my opinion! You have an RSVP to dine with freedom and abandon fear forever. Enjoy your invitation.
GRACENOMICS (by: Mike Foster) @mikefoster
Grace is possible. Maybe no other mantra is needed today more than this one. Whether it’s within oneself, at work or washing over those we encounter, grace is needed and grace is possible. Foster does a great job of unpacking the potency, potential and power of such a movement that is afoot today across campuses and the landscape of real peoples’ lives. Packed with great illustrations, profound biblical truths and flavored with beautiful, artful, clarifying images and humor – GRACENOMICS delivers a punch! It’s an easy read, but one that lingers long within. It might be served in bite sized subsections, but each is a full meal of content for the soul. If grace could be experienced in a beautiful guitar riff of word and thought that sends shivers through your spirit, this is it. Get it. Read it. Embrace it. Live it. Grace finds its source in Christ, but it’s release through his followers. Grace is possible my friends…and it’s GRACENOMICS that will stimulate the economy of love in your heart.
Nice job with the Gracenomics review. I enjoyed it too. I love how the Biblical truths are present in a way that non-believers out to be able to connect with at well. My own review: http://www.mohan37.com/?p=4049
