Don’t allow the push of critics or the pull of fans to deter you, slow you down, sideline you or get your stuck. Sure, sometimes we might need a push to get us moving or pulled in a better direction…
But we don’t need to be pulled and crippled by the critics and just quit. Nor do we need pushed to become inflated by the praises of people and stop moving forward with the mission God has given us to accomplish and the calling he’s put within our heart.
There is more to do!
Enjoy the moments of success, but keep going.
Endure the moments of struggle, but keep going.
Be faithful, keep going!
JESUS was not swayed by the pull of critics or pushed off course by the praises of people.
He loved people. Pursued people. People who were respected by others and those that were repelled by others. He just loves ALL people and pursues meeting them right where they’re at. He lived with a divine and focused purpose to seek people. He ultimately accomplished His mission of providing a way for people to have and experience life with God through faith. Above all, not matter what was being said about him:
He devoted himself to the Father no matter the chatter.
Whether people were singing his praises or cursing his name his focus remained on living for an audience of ONE.
That must be our focus as well.
Today, live to please that audience of ONE and keep going friend…
